Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Control Station Operator
The ROMONA training center conducts professional training in accordance with program “Operator of ground control facilities for an unmanned aerial vehicle”. The training includes theoretical lessons and practical launches of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The program is designed to obtain a qualification that allows you to carry out professional activities during operation of unmanned aircraft systems.

Educational programs:
40 hours’ educational program
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Control Station Operator мультироторного типа with a maximum takeoff weight of up to 30 kg - 40 academic hours, 5 working days
UAV operator training program
Theoretical part:
o Fundamentals of aerodynamics and design
o Fundamentals of Aeronautical Meteorology
o Aviation legislation
o The procedure for coordinating the airspace with the regulatory authorities
o Flight operating safety
o Operation and application
o Software
o Equipment Maintenance
o Operation in special cases
The practical part includes pre-flight actions training, training using simulators, practicing automatic and manual flight modes and performing flight tasks. Drone models are used for training: • DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise; • Matrice-210 RTK.
After completing the training and successfully passing the qualification exam, students receive a state recognized certificate "Operator of ground control facilities for an unmanned aerial vehicle", in Russian and English as well as UAV operator's flight book.
120 hour educational program
Operator of an unmanned aerial vehicle with a maximum take-off weight of up to 30 kg ( (multi-rotor and aircraft type) — - 120 academic hours, 15 working days
UAV operator training program
Theoretical part:
o Fundamentals of aerodynamics and design
o Fundamentals of Aeronautical Meteorology
o Aviation legislation
o The procedure for coordinating the airspace with the regulatory authorities
o Flight operating safety
o Operation and application
o Software
o Equipment Maintenance
o Operation in special cases

The training center does not provide services for the education and training of external pilots (specialists from the list of aviation personnel approved by Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 04.08.2015 No. 240).
The ROMONA training center received the FIS FRDO certificate of conformity and all issued documents are entered into the state register.
FIS FRDE is the Federal Information System "Federal Register of Information on Documents on Education and (or) on Qualifications, Documents on Training", designed for electronic accounting of issued diplomas, certificates and verifications.
What is it for?
- This is a mandatory requirement for organizations carrying out educational activities on generic vocational training programs (In accordance with the letter of Rosobrnadzor No. 05-330 dated 09/05/2018. From January 01, 2019, a module for additional education was put into operation)
- To eliminate the circulation of forged educational documents.
- Reliable information for employers about the qualification level of specialists (employees).
